The Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating an assault that occurred in Highlands East.
Police said on Jan 3 that they received information that on Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, at approximately 3 p.m., an assault took place in a parking lot of a business in Wilberforce.
“Assistance was provided to the victim of this assault by several people who were in the area. There are no concerns for public safety at this time,” OPP said.
